Description We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our Jewish early learning center. for fall 2024. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and preparing them for the future. Your creativity, patience, and ability to create a nurturing environment will contribute to the overall development of our students.In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. You will work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and assess student progress.If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young children, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and help shape the next generation! This is a school year position. Hours 8:30-1:15 Monday-Friday and 8:30-2:00 on Fridays. Salary starts at $23.00 per hour and is based on experience. Additional hours available. Responsibilities Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans Promote social and emotional development in young children. Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. inside and outside. Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field State certification or licensure for early childhood education preferred. Previous experience working with young children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, creativity, and a nurturing nature Knowledge of child development principles and best practices Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members Powered by JazzHR
