SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Foster a safe and respectful environment for all employees & Audit and support safety and quality practices and programs. Collaborate with resources to identify and eliminate production constraints and implement team suggestions for improvements Facilitating decision-making with operators & Communicating with all operators to ensure they have the necessary resources. Resolving safety, equipment, product, and production issues. Understand, demonstrate, and explain lean manufacturing principles and how they guide production changes and improvements. Train and evaluate operators on required training courses & Instruct employees on performing tasks more efficiently and safely. Attend daily production scheduling meetings and prepare logs of daily shift activities. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of equipment, products, and production procedures, with a preference for candidates with food manufacturing experience. Experience as a Team Lead, Lead Operator, or Coordinator is strongly preferred. Ability to work 12-hour various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. WORK CONDITIONS Fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, lift heavy items, and use equipment like forklifts. They may work in different temperatures and deal with dust and noise. SALARY $26.00 Hr.
