Join LifeWays as a Crisis Clinician! Make a real difference in crisis situations. LifeWays is seeking compassionate Crisis Clinicians to provide immediate support and intervention. Key Responsibilities: Crisis Response: Answer crisis calls and coordinate response activities. Team Leadership: Lead Mobile Crisis Aides and Peer Support Specialists. Assessment & Intervention: Conduct crisis/risk assessments and determine interventions. Documentation: Record crisis assessments, interventions, and follow-ups. Safety Plans: Develop safety plans and ensure smooth transitions to appropriate services. Counseling: Provide brief, intensive counseling and skill-building techniques. Coordination: Work with psychiatrists for urgent medication evaluations and facilitate appropriate care. Community Engagement: Inform the community about Crisis Team services. Qualifications: Required: Crisis Clinician I: Licensed Bachelor's Social Worker or Limited-Licensed Bachelor's Social Worker with supervision. Crisis Clinician II: Master's degree with LLMSW, LLPC, or LLP. Crisis Clinician III: Master's degree with LMSW, LPC, or LP. Crisis Clinician IV: Master's degree with LMSW, LPC, or LP and Crisis Intervention certification. Valid U.S. driver's license and clear motor vehicle record. Preferred: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). CIT Train the Trainer Certification. Certification in Licensing Supervision training.
