The Role: The Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator is a member of a production team striving to provide quality products and services that exceed our customer's expectations.In this role you'll have an opportunity to contribute as part of the ink manufacturing team: utilizing standard procedures for product packing, assembly, manufacturing, raw material handling, mixing, equipment operation and safety requirements. Job Responsibilities: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Execute manufacturing operations according to standards (SOP's) and job safety requirements: Operate production line machinery and computers: Perform equipment changeovers as required: Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line: Complete daily production logs and required reporting: Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery as required: May generate, collect, move and store hazardous waste or prepare document(s) related to hazardous waste management. May assist loading of hazardous wastes onto transporter trucks: Proposes any identified improvement in the activity scope: Maintain material supply level adhering to just in time manufacturing principles: Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and / or lifting.
