Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the DHDC CVI Program Director, the Coordinator will create transitional employment opportunities for clients in a sheltered workforce as part of the CVI program; transport and supervise participants to worksites. This position is responsible for a wide range of activities to include but are not limited to:This position is responsible for a wide range of activities to include but are not limited to: Develop a sustainable business model to continue the project beyond the grant. The model should include ongoing contracts that provide sufficient income to sustain the project. Locate and secure contracts with businesses and private residents for projects such as cleaning and securing the interior and exterior of empty properties; grass, leave and snow removal; minor demolition; and boarding up properties. Creates contracts to summarize job s and reimbursement to be paid to DHDC. Develop schedule for sheltered workforce. Identify new markets to tap into and conduct market research that identifies new business development opportunities. Supervise participants in temporary jobs, 15 to 20 hours of paid work each week such as cleaning and securing the interior and exterior of empty properties; grass, leave and snow removal; minor demolition; and boarding up properties. Transport participants and equipment to worksites. Order and maintain tools and equipment used by the team. Approved participants' timesheets. Encourage participants to capitalize on their motivation and desire for life change, as well as guiding participants to seek help from the in‐house case manager and staff to address any issues, concerns, or obstacles they may be facing
