Position: Carpenter Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Salary Range: Starting at $19/hr +, depending on experience Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to execute various projects. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials according to project specifications. Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks, including roofs, walls, floors, and ceilings. Perform small stucco and plaster repairs (interior/exterior). Install roofing materials, such as shingles, tiles, metal roof and wall panels. Perform finishing work, including sanding, staining, and painting surfaces. Inspect structures to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards. Collaborate with roofing contractors, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Maintain a clean work environment. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Proven experience as a Carpenter in the commercial and residential construction industry. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques. Must have basic carpentry pouch and hand tools. Ability to work safely at heights above +/-20’. Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials to precise specifications. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Able to lift 50lbs +/- Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be available Monday through Friday as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
