The ideal candidate must be admitted to the Texas State Bar and have experience in transportation, catastrophic injury, commercial disputes, construction, medical malpractice, and/or healthcare matters. Duties:Collaborate closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, and trial presentationConduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client objectivesDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarityAssist in client communication and case management activitiesParticipate in strategy sessions and contribute strategic insights to meet client goalsMaintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service throughout all interactionsStay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends to provide informed counsel Requirements:Admission to the Texas State Bar5+ years of experience in defense litigationExperience in transportation, catastrophic injury, commercial disputes, construction, medical malpractice, and/or healthcare mattersExceptional research and writing skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentMotivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Texas State Bar Skills:Legal research and writing proficiencyLitigation and trial preparation experienceStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and negotiation skillsTime management and organizational skills Benefits:Competitive salary package, including potential bonusesComprehensive insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision, disability, life)401(k) retirement planUnlimited paid time offFlexible work-from-home policyProfessional development assistanceReferral program opportunities
