The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and must be an active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.Duties:Provide comprehensive counsel to clients in the realm of intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent prosecution.Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Draft and file patent applications, respond to office actions and manage the patent prosecution process.Collaborate with clients, inventors, and internal teams to understand technical aspects and effectively communicate legal strategies.Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution.Active membership in good standing with the Patent Bar.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in the state of South Carolina or eligible for admission.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the Patent Bar.Skills:Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent prosecution.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.Job Location: Charleston, SC
