If you are a litigation attorney with at least 4 years of litigation experience, our firm is hiring an associate who will support us by diligently representing accident victims. The ideal candidate will have courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. If you’re ready to jump-start your growth in the industry and learn how to strategize in the courtroom to successfully represent clients, reach out to us today! Responsibilities: • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients• Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings• Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently• Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitration and depositions Qualifications: • Successful completion of the bar exam• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients• Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school• Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base• Florida Bar license Compensation: $134,500 base salary + per case commissions About Company: We are a diverse and thriving Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law Firm, now in our 13th year.
