Duties:Manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remediesProvide high-quality legal representation and fair payment solutionsConduct legal research, writing, and oral communication effectivelyHandle high-volume caseload and provide expert analysis on legal and regulatory risksNegotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final case resolutionTravel to various courts within Virginia for legal representation and court hearingsReport all activity and results to the Managing Attorney Requirements:J.D. from accredited law school with active license to practice law in VAIn-depth knowledge of Federal Debt Collection Law and State civil litigation lawsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral and written communication skillsOutstanding time management skillsActive VA license required; license in other states within the firm's footprint (NC, SC, TN, FL, GA, MD, MI, OH) is a plus Skills:Legal research, writing, and oral communicationAnalysis of case law and providing recommendationsTime management and organizationNegotiation and conflict resolution Experience:0-2 years’ experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation, attending court proceedings, and associated regulations This law firm offers full legal services with special experience in finance.
