Graphic Designer - Fundraising Direct Mail and Email - Unlimited PTO and Work from Home! The Graphic Designer will work with a team of creative minds, partnering with other subject matter expert teams to ensure overall strategy, style, brand, and tone for each project matches up with the creative strategy for each client. We partner with a variety of non-profits that speak to our core values from sectors including health, human services, social programs, professional organizations, and legislative advocacy groups. We log off at the end of each day knowing we are making a difference in the world. Position Overview and Responsibilities : Develop creative design solutions for direct mail and digital projects using design/layout applications, photography, illustrations, video, and content. Work closely with Client Services teams, Copywriters, Digital Specialists, and the Direct Mail Print and Production Department to develop design solutions, specifications, and aesthetic values that adhere to client guidelines and meet strategic objectives. The ability to not only create a design, but also to disassemble the design into individual assets specific to the channel designed for. Have a strong knowledge of Mail Piece Design requirements from USPS as well as a good understanding of the direct mail production process for design. Have a strong knowledge of designing for Digital channels (Email, Social, Display Ads, and building animations and GIFs). Be a passionate learner through the latest industry knowledge and technological innovations. What You Need 2-5 years' experience in design in direct marketing specifically direct mail and digital campaigns 2-5 years' experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts preferred or equivalent degree or work experience in all the above. Direct Mail Marketing experience is strongly preferred. Digital Marketing experience is strongly preferred. Ability to manage many shifting priorities daily. The ability to create, edit, and export animations to different specs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An innovative, positive, and self-directed attitude. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills is a plus. Team-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with a strong interest in analyzing the success of previous creative strategies and utilizing that information to create new designs to improve results.
