This assignment requires experience with assisting the medical unit with duties such as, Providing patient service and support. Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and examinations. Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Ensure proper patient care and comfort during medical visits. Perform basic life support procedures when necessary. Requirements: BLS RequiredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification RequiredProficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practicesExperience providing medical administrative support in a clinical settingPrior experience providing patient care and support in a clinical or hospital setting Preferred but not requiredPrevious experience in wound care PreferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; Friendly and engaging self-starter who works well in high-pressure situationsWork 2 locations in Virginia BeachMonday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
