Technology Development Advisor Alberta Innovates is seeking a Technology Development Advisor (TDA) to join our Entrepreneurial Investments team. TDAs play an exciting role in Alberta’s innovation ecosystem by engaging, advising, and coaching scalable Technology and knowledge based Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) in the areas of business, product development and commercialization activities. The TDA is a connector who creates links between business support services, professionals, and programs from the Provincial and Federal Government, Colleges, Universities, non-profits and industry contacts. This position will be based in Calgary. Are you our next TDA? You would be a good fit for this position if you have: A passion for accelerating high potential companies and growing the entrepreneur culture in Alberta. The ability to connect and coach others based on your previous business experience with technology-based companies. A network that would provide value to new founders and scaling businesses. A collaborative approach to problem solving and can act as a resource for other TDA’s. Knowledge of what it takes to validate and scaling technologies, current lean startup methodologies. An ability to understand emerging technologies and coach companies in commercializing technologies in these areas. We are game changers.
