Waikiki Health is seeking a part-time Community Health WorkerPay rate for this role is $22.00 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 20 hour work week Benefits Health insurance (Employee only) 100% premium paid once eligible. 13 Paid holidays Parking included 403(b) Retirement Plan Participation effective within 4 weeks of employment Matching is offered once eligible with a 3-year vesting period Perks HOLO Bus Pass benefits BIKI bike rental benefits Company Shirt The Community Health Worker is responsible for ensuring the Youth Outreach (YO!) Clinic operates smoothly. Qualifications College degree required or commensurate experience in a health-related field. Must have experience or education in health or social services procedures and/or at least 1 year of experience in a related field. Certified Community Health Worker preferred or willingness to be trained. Experience working with at-risk youth or those experiencing homelessness preferred. Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks. Hawaii driver?s license with clean 5-year loss from their car insurance. General Duties include but are not limited to Be present during drop-in hours to build rapport, talk story, and assist youth with their needs. Function as a part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes other Waikiki Health staff and partner agency Hale Kipa staff. Assists medical, behavioral, and dental health providers at the YO! Clinic. Chart and document service encounters in a matter that is unbiased and maintains patient dignity. Provide youth with insurance navigation services, including but not limited to the application process. Other duties as assigned *Waikiki Health requires proof of the following immunization; with or without reasonable accommodation: TB skin test or chest x-ray, Hep B (optional).
