Required Skills: Software Engineer - SW Specialist - Language Responsibilities: Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent systems that improve Meta products and experiences. Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large scale applications. Define use cases and develop methodology and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or in a computer related occupation. Experience must include three years of experience in the following: One or more of the following areas: NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI, Dialogue, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence Developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in C/C++ or Python Developing paralinguistic engines including speaker identification, whisper detection, stutter detection Developing streaming audio processing pipelines, as well as designing thread model inside such pipelines On device development and debugging Developing and optimizing speech AI models, having experience on common modeling optimizations including quantization, gradient checkpointing Developing end-to-end streaming speech APIs and services, and the ability to maintain scalability and availability of such services.
