Our busy optical practice needs a Medical Secretary/Technician to help us give patients a 5-star experience whenever they’re here. This is a full-time position with benefits and weekends OFF. You will work the following hours, weekdays only, in an office setting with an amazing group of people: Monday: 11am-7pm Tuesday: 10am-5pm Wednesday: 11am-7pm Thursday: 10am-6pm Friday: 9am-5pm We offer: Paid vacation with full medical benefits, retirement plan match, and the possibility for monthly bonuses. Starting pay is $17 per hour through 3-month training. Salary range of $17-$22 per hour after training period; $25+ per hour after 5 years All training paid for and provided - includes a certification process No Experience Needed Prior medical office experience is a plus, but it’s not required. What you’ll be doing as a Medical Secretary/Technician A vision therapist is an emerging profession where you help children and adults overcome vision problems impacting their ability to perform well in school, work, and life. Vision Therapy is akin to Physical Therapy for the eyes. You will work one-on-one with patients to treat vision conditions using the most advanced vision therapy techniques, writing reports, and testing.You will do very fulfilling work helping children with vision problems that impact their ability to succeed in school and life, and helping children and adults with acquired brain injury recover from their injuries.
