They will provide legal counsel, represent clients in court proceedings, and conduct thorough legal research to build strong defense strategies.Job Duties:Advise clients on their rights and draw up legal documents about their cases.Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients, guiding the best legal strategies.Manage all aspects of court appearances, trials, drafting motions, and interviewing witnesses.Conduct comprehensive legal research to analyze probable case outcomes based on legal precedents.Effectively manage the workload of cases, ensuring timely and thorough representation for each client.Provide detailed legal analysis to clients to determine potential case benefits.Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or refute prosecution charges.Prepare clients for depositions, strategize essential case goals, and gather information from witnesses and experts.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing Criminal Defense law.Extensive experience handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, assisting and strategizing with fellow associates.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.Benefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, competitive compensation, paid parking, paid time off, and more.
