Project Overview Bechtel is on the Northrop Grumman Corp. team preparing to deliver the U.S. Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) system of inter:continental ballistic missiles and launch infrastructure.GBSD is a vital U.S. Air Force program designed to modernize the nation's aging force of inter:continental ballistic missiles, which make up the ground element of the nuclear deterrent.As part of the Northrop Grumman GBSD nationwide team, Bechtel will provide launch system design, construction, and integration. A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile:defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. We invite you to join our team for this very interesting opportunity Position Summary Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities as directed. Supervises planning and scheduling activities when delegated. Responsibilities The following duties will be performed with respect to Scheduling activities: :Identifies scope of schedule activities. :Determines schedule dates for work activities within a discipline area or specialty. :Determines milestones to support project schedule.:Works with Area/Functional personnel to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan. :Conforms work sequence and activity durations per project's execution plan for a specific discipline or specialty. :Determines inter:discipline constraints or interfaces that define activity sequences.:Assists discipline groups in determining what information is required from other disciplines to support schedule activities and how to interface with the assigned discipline or specialty.:Provides schedule knowledge on a continuous basis to assist in discipline planning and interfacing with others.:Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialties. :Assists in the development of requirements for updating and monitoring the schedule. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications :Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least 3 years of related professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 9 years of related professional experience.:US Citizenship is required per contract requirements.:Must possess active security clearance or an ability to obtain security clearance.Must be able to complete and pass a pre:employment drug scr
