Job Summary The Ready:Mix Loader Operator is responsible for operating equipment commonly found necessary for the proper maintenance of a ready:mix plant. Equipment operated will include loader, water truck, man lift, forklift, etc. Training will also cover back:up batch activities and plant maintenance. The daily responsibilities may not be site:specific. Compensation 26.50/hour Responsibilities:Demonstrate safe and efficient operation of equipment while completing assigned tasks:Perform pre:operational/post:operational checks of equipment to ensure equipment can be operated safely:Operate a range of loaders including skip loader, front loader, man lift, and forklift:Perform work area examinations to ensure a safe work environment; any observed hazards must be noted, reported to the supervisor and corrected if possible:Comply with company policies, procedures and work rules, as well as federal safety, health, and environmental regulations:Perform plant maintenance activities as directed:Work may extend to include general labor duties such as shoveling and sweeping:Support other plant activities as directed:Some weekend and night work will be required Education High school diploma or GED Requirements/Qualifications:Experience operating loaders, man lifts and forklifts:Experience operating equipment outside in all weather conditions:Ability to work under pressure:Work with minimal supervision:Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and climb stairs and ladders up to 24 feet high:Must have reliable transportation for all work shifts:Trustworthy and excellent attendance recordPreferred: :Strong computer skills:Any maintenance:related certifications:Commercial driver's license Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post:offer pre:employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on:going drug and alcohol testing.
