Assist Logistics Group, LLC is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Bensenville, IL. This position offers a unique opportunity to work for an established logisitcs company where you'll complete delieveries consisting mainly of local drop/hook and airport recoveries within a 100 mile radius of O'Hare Airport. Assist Logistics Group, LLC is a recognized 3PL leader with demonstrated capabilities across all industry sectors. Over the last 18 years we have serviced great success to national accounts including: FedEx Customer Critical, Marshal Fields, Bridgestone USA, Target & Petco while also serving a vast array of other shippers, manufacturers and transportation companies. Our company prides itself on offering our employees a reliable, safe a team-oriented working environment with plenty of room for growth within our doors!Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour with anywhere between 40-55 hours per week Overtime pay after 40 hours accumulated in a consecutive five day period are paid at time and a half Employee Referral Bonus: $500 paid in 1 installment after 6-months of employment Annual Holiday Bonus based on Performance Paid via direct deposit bi-weeklyBenefits & Perks: Great company benefits starting after 90 days of employment: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Start accruing on day 1 Accural amount increases with years of service Paid Company Holidays All Major Holidays Observed (8+) Paid training and paid orientationHome Time, Route & Schedule: Home Time: Home daily! Schedule: Monday - Friday + OT Saturday & Sunday Afternoon Shift: Starting at 1PM Route: 100 miles around O'Hare Airport Level of Touch: Mainly Drop & Hook - No touch FreightEquipment: Late-Model Trucks: International and Freightliner Day Cabs Automatic & Manual trucks available Drivers must know how to drive a Manual! Tablet with route optimization software equipped in all trucksQualifications: Must be at least 22 years of age Must have CDL A license (Illinois) Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record within last 12 months 0 minimum DUI/DWIs in last 5 years Hazmat endorsement is not required but is a strong plus Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and random drug screenings Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 20 miles of Bensenville, IL Assist Transport Services, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
