Job Description: Persistent Technology Inc. is seeking a motivated Jr. ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in software development. This role will involve working under the supervision of senior developers and contributing to larger projects, particularly those involving IT service management tools such as ServiceNow. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and implement software solutions within ServiceNow. Contribute to the development of ServiceNow applications, workflows, and customizations to meet client requirements. Write clear and comprehensive software documentation to maintain code integrity and aid in future development and maintenance phases. Work with other team members to integrate various software systems and components to ensure they work together seamlessly in an ITSM environment. Participate in code reviews and testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of software deliverables. Stay updated on ServiceNow architecture and development practices, including scripting, workflows, business rules, and UI customization. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations and customizations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 2 to 3 years of experience in software development, with hands-on experience in both Windows and web development environments. Experience working under the supervision of senior developers and contributing to larger projects. Knowledge of ITSM tools, particularly ServiceNow, is highly desirable. Ability to write clear and comprehensive software documentation. Proficiency in languages commonly used in web and Windows environments, such as Java, .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. Experience with frameworks and tools relevant to both web and Windows platforms, such as Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and modern JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is preferred. Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or Agile Certifications are a plus.
