We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.Labs is a group focused on incubating early-stage efforts in support of Google's mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our team exists to help discover and create new ways to advance our core products through exploration and the application of new technologies. We work to build new solutions that have the potential to transform how users interact with Google. Our goal is to drive innovation by developing new Google products and capabilities that deliver significant impact over longer timeframes.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role. 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products. Experience building products for developers and software engineers. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting). 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership. 3 years of experience in software development or engineering. 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership. Responsibilities Own and define project roadmaps. Drive development and secure buy-in for product ideas that identify, define, and support the overall product narrative and direction. Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business growth). Lead processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures. Lead PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, program managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams.
