Summary: We are looking for an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our Richmond, Kentucky team. A successful Electronic Security Technician works under the supervision of the Project Manager and Field Supervisor as it relates to supporting company goals in day-to-day operations as a field representative. This position performs a variety of administrative functions, including but not limited to being the first point of contact with internal and external customers, overall processing and administration of office reporting, and correspondences. Other duties include installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, network infrastructure, and various electronic security systems. Job Duties and Functions:Install, repair, test, maintain and troubleshooting of security projects as assigned * Provide field customer service and represent Evergreen Fire and Security in a professional manner * Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation, maintenance of systems and OSHA safety standards * Interface with EFS internal customers including but not limited to the engineering staff with technical information necessary to improve installations * Read and comprehend blueprints, project instructions and company forms * Be available to travel as necessary * Maintain confidentiality at all times * All other duties as assigned within your qualifications * Work schedule is a 4/10 Monday - Thursday and may require occasional on-call work Experience and Skills: Position Specific Requirements: * Valid state driver's license and proof of minimum liability insurance. * AA or 2+ year(s) of additional experience * Secret ClearancePosition Specific Preferred Requirements: * Three years of verifiable work experience * Experienced electrician * Current Secret Level or higher security clearance. * Security certifications must pass training certification within 90 days: Security system experience and certifications (Evergreen Fire and Security will support training as required): Honeywell Vindicator, DAQ, MDI, Lenel, AMAG, Advantor, HIRSCH, Bosch, and Pelco. * Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases. * OSHA 30 certificate * Valid CPR/First Aid cardSupervisory Responsibilities: * This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment: * This job operates in the office and in the field. This role routinely uses office tools, office supplies, computers, and phones. It may also routinely operate a vehicle.Physical Demands: * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Travel: * This position requires up to 75% travel.Additional Requirements for Individual Role per Manager: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). * Good communication skills to interface with customers. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work autonomously. * Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude. * Pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
