Janitor POAH Communities is seeking a Janitor for Colony Plaza Apartments in Excelsior Springs, MO . The primary responsibility of the janitorial functions will be related to maintaining a clean property. The position will require some light maintenance responsibilities as well. RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to housekeeping and basic repair work orders in a timely manner, resolving all issues and closing work orders within 24 hours of submission Transport equipment, furnishings and appliances to work area Assist with the turning of vacant units within three business days Perform clean-up of work areas Maintain grounds through trash management and landscaping Prepare for/respond to weather phenomena such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, snow, ice, etc. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Able to lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Strong verbal, written and customer service communications are essential. Positive attitude. Team player. Willingness to learn.
