This is a p/t role with flexible scheduling around event schedules. The pay rate is $25.00/hr. Allied Universal Event Services, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring an Event Quality Control Officer. The Event Quality Control Officer will provide quality control audits at client venues for sports, concerts, and special events. This role may be on foot, bicycle or motorized vehicle depending on venue and deployment. The Event Quality Control Officer shall follow written and verbal guidelines to conduct formal reviews of gameday Allied Universal Event Services operations, provide remedial instruction to Allied Universal Event Services security and event staff professionals where required, provide detailed reports on performance metrics, and assist with specific tasks as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform scripted audits of Allied Universal Event Services personnel working events Provide detailed reporting on findings of audit procedures using standardized reporting mechanisms Identify operational failures and conduct regular remedial trainings with Allied Universal Event Services personnel at events Maintain consistent availability to work home NFL games and collegiate football games Demonstrate a complete understanding of all post orders and proper job procedures at events held at stadium events Demonstrate a complete understanding of Allied Universal Event Services polices, including proper employee grooming and uniform presentation and customer relations techniques Perform roaming security patrols of designated areas at special events, on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of client rule infractions, such as unruly behavior, or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter restricted areas and monitor entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of client and company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Respond to Incidents as directed by client, managers, and law enforcement Request law enforcement assistance as needed and support law enforcement as requested Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by client and company Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders Make productivity and safety recommendations to management QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Must possess one or more of the following: Service in any military branch, preferably with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) related to law enforcement, security (e.g., Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms), or any support role in a Combat Zone Active or retired status as a law enforcement officer, including police, sheriff, federal and state agents, and corrections officers Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, firefighter, or first-responder type of experience Police Officer Standards Training (POST) Certified Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies Associate's degree (or sixty credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication skills Able to train staff effectively on proper job procedures of event positions Prior training in de-escalation techniques Critical thinking skills Active listening skills Assess and evaluate situations effectively Identify critical issues quickly and accurately Research, investigate, compile information Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Write informatively, clearly, and accurately Teamwork Attention to detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient computer skills Bilingual / multi-lingual skills desired First aid training Prior teaching or training experience BENEFITS: Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions Schedules that fit with your personal life goals Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...
