Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 Position: Phlebotomist III Shift/Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday As a Phlebotomist III, your responsibilities: This office is basically a processing office, the nurses will draw. The phlebotomist may be required to draw. But mostly they will be processing blood work. Experience doing blood draws. Labeling specimens Centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination Updating patient information Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
