PRODUCTION ASSISTANT JH Design Unlimited is a family-owned business located in St. Lucie West. This business was founded on art first and foremost, and has grown to produce work that shows off the art created. We are a graphic design, print, apparel, sign, and vehicle wrap shop. We do a little bit of everything and we’re seeking a versatile team member to assist with the graphic design and production of a multitude of things. We want someone who is a team player, who will be ready to jump in and help in multiple areas of the business. It could be answering a phone, assisting a customer, load vinyl onto a printer, or even help glassing vinyl on a car. Here at JH Design Unlimited, everyone has a main job task but we help one another and in return produce the best work for our clients. This is an IN-HOUSE position. REQUIREMENTS: Have basic math skills and the ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Be able to use PC & be computer literate. Be able to use light power equipment and tools (sheet cutters, saws, drills, etc.) Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Be able to organize tasks and determine priorities. Be able to work independently and occasionally alone in the shop. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow directions according to customers’ orders. Work safely and maintain a safe work environment by keeping it clean and organized. Must have a valid driver license. Must be able to speak English fluently. PREFERRED: Software: Corel Draw, InDesign, Versaworks, Microsoft Outlook, & QuickBooks Time (Online) Experience designing vehicle wraps & boat wraps. Experience doing large format lamination. Knowledge and experience with working with large format printers. Experience mounting vinyl on substrates. Experience working with and heat pressing apparel.
