The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science are preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a track record of insightful research and analysis and persuasive writing abilities, are essential for success in this role.Duties:Represent clients in intellectual property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client counseling.Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation.Participate in client meetings, depositions, and court appearances as required.Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.Requirements:1-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Strong understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret laws and procedures.Bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science preferred.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing.Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science preferred.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Proficiency in legal software and technology tools.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
