Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
Job Description: Perform critical electronic systems engineering duties. Work to maximize the use of technology to support the design and quality of electronic components, software, products, or systems within avionics parts. Gather, analyze, and understand the technical requirements associated with each element of the manufacturing and engineering processes and their quality control checks. Utilizing complex mathematical algorithms, and after listening closely to the needs of engineering personnel and senior management, perform detailed applied mathematical and computational calculations that adapt, adjust, or maintain the electronic components, software, products, or systems in the design, manufacture, and quality control processes for avionics parts. Evaluate manufacturing work to ensure its effectiveness, adequacy, or compatibility with complex and highly regulated avionics design requirements. Direct or coordinate activities within manufacturing work that pertain to the electronic engineering aspects of avionics design. Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, products, and systems and suggest changes to meet engineering design specifications. Develop and maintain project documentation, and provide regular status reports to senior management. Minimum Entry Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering or Foreign Equivalent Degree. At least 60 Months of postbaccalaureate experience is required as a Manufacturing Engineer or in closely related occupations. Work Location: 1810 NDSU Research Circle N., Fargo, ND 58102. Salary: At least $93,226 per annum.
