SITE OF SERVICE: Fort Bliss Hospital, Fort Bliss El Paso TX Full Time POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Degree: Master’s degree in nursing. Education: Graduated from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Certification : Possess current certification of ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Additional Certifications : Must have the following: Possess a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Registration certificate National Provider Identifier (NPI ) BLS Certification : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Experience : Possess one (1) year of experience within in the last two (2) years of working full-time as a Nurse Practitioner. Licensure : Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island. U.S. Citizenship : Shall be a U.S. citizen. English Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate. Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract. HOURS: Monday through Friday 0730-1600, with the occasional weekend day. To Be Discussed. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
