By combining the strengths of Super-Pufft Snacks, USA, and Shearer s, we anticipate enhanced operational efficiencies, improved supply chain capabilities, and increased geographical reach.Expanding the Perry, FL TeamOur Address:--700 Super Pufft St, Perry, FL 32348We at Shearer s have plans to immediately expand production and continue to grow the team in the Perry facility as well as continue to service our key customers.-- We have the following shift available for immediate hire:--Processor OperatorNights - 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM-- 2,2,3 schedule. $18 per hour------Your seat at the best snacks table:Adhere to all GMP s, Food Safety requirements and company policiesTend or operate and control equipment such as kettles, vats, tanks and boilers to cook ingredients or prepare products for processingSet temperature, pressure, and time controls and start conveyors, machines or pumpsAdjust temperature controls of ovens or other heating equipmentClean, wash and sterilize equipment and cooking area using water hoses, cleaning or sterilizing solutions or rinsesListen for malfunction alarms and shut down equipment and notify supervisors when necessaryRemove cooked material or product from equipmentCollect and examine product samples during production to test them for quality, color, content, consistencyOther duties as assigned by line leader / management------What you bring to the party:Language Skills Must be able to read, understand and effectively communicate to team members in immediate areaMathematical Skills Must be able to do simple math, conversions and use formulas to compute run ratesReasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out written or oral instructions.Troubleshooting Skills Must have ability to work through problems backwards to find root causes and address issues.Computer Skills - Must have basic computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required to run production.We offer a variety pack of benefits after just 30 days:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Flexible Spending Account, Retirement Savings Plan with Match, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Group Critical Accident Insurance, Group Critical Illness Insurance, Employee Assistance Plan and numerous opportunities to volunteer in the communities in which we operate.
