We are hiring a Civil Engineer (P.E) to work in the St George, Utah area. As one of the largest professional engineering companies in the Intermountain West, J-U-B delivers innovative services which allow our clients to succeed, while also providing an enriching environment for our employees.While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this position will: Provide engineering design and project management services for civil engineering projects primarily focused on water, wastewater/sewer, storm water, and other infrastructure services in Utah. Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction. Analyze engineering data, interpret, and prepare plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges. Collaborate with engineers and planners and public agencies for reports, design, and construction phase services for various private and public agency clients. Coordinate and support multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in the State of Utah. With ability to become licensed in Nevada and Arizona in six months. 6+ years of qualified experience as a P.E. 2+ years working in the Washington County, Utah area. Excellent communication and writing skills. Willingness to build a practice and mentor junior staff. Proven technical background and skillset Multi discipline civil engineering background with experience in the entire project development cycle. Understanding of local municipal codes, and design/development standards. Water resources engineering experience, including pressure and open channel flow modeling, design, and construction oversight is a plus.
