We have a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Bothell at a company that specializes in pipe products for water and wastewater infrastructure. The company's pipe products are primarily sold to large distributors who serve municipal customers in cities and towns across America.In this role, transition products from development to the manufacturing phase, ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, address production challenges with your expertise, and develop/refine manufacturing procedures and standards to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Direct Hire Opportunity - Be on our client's payroll from Day 1!Salary and Shift Information: * Salary: $115K-$140K/year with both annual and profit-sharing bonuses * 1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm; Mon-Fri Job Duties of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: * Work on the production floor as well as the office, balancing between design, troubleshooting, and direct application solutions * Act as a senior leader within the engineering department and oversee both current products and new product development * Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and technicians * Lead the end-to-end development process for new products, from initial research and concept design through to market launch * Optimize product designs for manufacturability and efficiency, and ensure seamless integration into existing production processes * Apply in-depth mechanical engineering principles to innovate and enhance product features * Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering issues across multiple production departments, and ensure compliance to established quality standards * Lead initiatives to refine manufacturing processes, aim to reduce costs, and enhance productivity * Conduct ROI analyses on proposed projects and process changes, and act strategically to reduce costs * Collaborate with departments across the organization sales, operations, marketing, and quality to ensure the products meet or exceed the customer expectations * Communicate complex technical information effectively to ensure others can clearly understand and align on project objectives and timelinesBenefits of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: * Medical Insurance * Vision Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance: Long-Term / Short-Term Disability Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * Paid Time Off * Employee Assistance Program * Bonuses: They offer both annual and profit-sharing bonuses * Employee EventsJob Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: * 5 years of more of experience in mechanical engineering with proficiency in a variety of technical disciplines * A bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience * A collaborative spirit and the ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to engage effectively with all levels within the organization * A strong track record of solving problems and making an organization better * An interest in leveraging product management systems * Proficiency in MS Office, SolidWorks, and comfortable with a variety of hand and power toolsAPPLY NOW!!
