The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of relevant experience and be proficient in handling bodily injury defense, employment, and other insurance defense matters. They must excel in individual and team settings and demonstrate a commitment to meeting clients' unique needs.Duties:Handle bodily injury defense, employment, and other insurance defense matters.Manage civil cases through trial, including taking depositions, attending oral arguments and hearings, negotiating settlements, and providing thorough client reports.Collaborate effectively with legal team members to achieve successful case outcomes.Demonstrate exceptional motivation and initiative in case management and client representation.Requirements:5+ years of experience in insurance defense law.Prior experience in insurance defense is required.Must be highly proficient in handling civil cases through trial.Motivated self-starter with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.Current license to practice law in Nevada; additional licensure in other states is a plus.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership is in good standing with the Nevada State Bar; additional state Bar admissions are preferred.Skills:Strong litigation skills with experience in trial advocacy.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Thorough understanding of insurance defense principles and practices.Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Job Location: Reno, NVBenefits Offered:401(k) retirement planDental InsuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insurance
