Requisition ID:71440 Job Description Position Summary:This sunny and family friendly southern California designer center located in Newbury Park has been attracting top professionals to join Skyworks elite team here. Not only you will learn and accumulate advanced technical skills, but we also provide various career growth opportunities to fit your personal career goals. This role will involve you to develop the most sophisticated RF front end module through Skyworks technical networks with collaborations with expert teams among all Skyworks design centers across the US and Japan. Overtime this position has potential to advance from individual contributor to key leader who will own and execute critical portion of our product developments. This is a very exciting opportunity for candidate who has ambition to build up professional growth and be part of Skyworks success. The qualified candidate needs to be a self:driven, committed team player and possess a full understanding of electromagnetics and RF circuits with details shown below. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Adapting best MCM design and full module Co:simulation practices* Designing semi:lumped RF matching networks in a compact environment* Designing Integrated Passive Devices* Designing RF multiplexers* Designing BAW filters and stacks* Lab tuning, data review and analysis* Work with PE team to review ATE reports and limits* Provide detailed reports/slides for customer support and exec reviews* Designing high:isolation laminate layouts to meet high density component module and able to meet stringent requirements such as de:sense and harmonics* Participating and conducting design review meeting* Performing lab testing and tuning and using various RF test equipment The circuit blocks involved in a typical product development may include:1. Power Amplifiers2. Integrated Passive Devices3. SAW/BAW Duplexers and High:Q RF Filters4. Switches5. Low Noise Amplifiers6. Matching circuits7. High:directivity couplers Software Tools Used are:1. Ansoft HFSS2. Agilent ADS and Momentum3. Cadence Allegro and Virtuoso Layout Hardware Tools Used are:1. Network Analyzers2. Spectrum Analyzers3. Signal Generators4. Digital Receivers5. Load:Pull/Tuners6. RF Probe Stations Qualifications* BSEE and 5 years of work experience or MS and 3 years of experience or PhD* Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook* Experiences of EM tools such as HFSS, or Momentum* Lab experiences of network analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer and probe station* Knowledge of HBT, FET, CMOS devices* Knowledge of RF switch design, or power amplifier design, or PA classes, PAE, PA performance* Knowledge of communication standards, such as LTE:A, WiFi, and the associated standards* requirements on such as sensitivity, intermodulation, de:sense, ACLR, EVM* Experience in ADS, Virtuoso, and Allegro Preferred Skills LI:MS1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD 124,400 : 235,700per year.
