N EEDED: Social Workers (BSW, MSW, LCSW) LOCATION: Should be able to provide services for the following VANCHCS locations: Martinez CLC, Oakland Outpatient Clinic, Martinez OPC, Fairfield/Mare Island OPC, Sacramento / Mather Hospital and OPC, McClellan OPC, Yuba City OPC, Chico OPC, Redding OPC, and Yreka OPC. STATUS: AS NEEDED SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM -4:30 PM QUALIFICATIONS: Social Workers must be competent in general social work functions, possess a BSW, MSW or LCSW depending on assignment. BSW: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work MSW : Master’s Degree in Social Work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). LCSW : Licensed Clinical Social Worker having successfully completed a master's degree in social work and at least 3,000 hours of supervised practice validated license by a state Board of Behavioral Science. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with all employees. Skill and efficiency in use of Microsoft Office package, practices professional phone etiquette, skills in typing and filing, and strong customer service skills. Ability to interpret and apply written instructions, guidelines, policy memorandums, etc. This includes the ability to gather, organize, and compile factual material. Prior social work experience preferably working in health-related setting. JOB DUTIES: Providing Social Work Services in the following areas: Community Care, Medical Social Work, and Homeless Services.
