JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead Department: Maintenance Classification: Non:Exempt Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm : 7am, overtime eligible) Reports to: Maintenance Manager Job Summary To continually lead, evaluate, and develop teams to successfully achieve Safety, Quality, SCOT, Lean Transformation, and other annual targets to achieve financial, customer satisfaction, and employee relations objectives for all value streams. Job Responsibilities :Provide guidance, maintain scheduling and distribute workload for Maintenance and Maintenance Fabrication (R and D) team members on appropriate shift in daily operations and other projects.stylelist:style:type:circle::Coordinate workload with Maintenance Scheduler and Lead team members on other shifts. :Communicate/Work closely with the Tool and Die Team Leader.:Responsible for maintaining the Preventative Maintenance Program, in an effort to reduce downtime, scrap and increase productivity.stylelist:style:type:square::Print off / assign daily PM's / Report Attainment and speak to any misses encountered with the Maintenance Scheduler and Maintenance Manager:Maintain MPulse work order management system to ensure compliance to required maintenance objectives.stylelist:style:type:square::Verify start times and dates on work orders:Verify stop times and dates on work orders:Verify that personnel have put in comment section what they did to complete work order. :Verify that Maintenance personnel are completing/closing work orders daily. (Before departing from their respective daily shift) :Continuous communication with Maintenance Administration and Maintenance Shift Leaders on equipment/tooling repairs that effect the production schedule.:Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functions to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment.:PLC/Controls experience : ladder logic, programming, troubleshooting (i.e. Omron, Allen Bradley):Robot experience : troubleshooting, repair, program "touch:ups" (i.e. Fanuc):CNC machining center experience : troubleshooting and repair:Communication, both verbally and written to keep the Plant Management informed of repairs, materials used or needed and downtime required.:Provide financial justification for new projects and improvements on existing maintenance systems.:Once approved, insure completion of a project within allotted timeframe and within budget.:Research companies for superior and more cost:effective products when implementing new systems or upgrading old ones.:Be a leader in improving/supporting the APS (AGCO Production System) culture of the Maintenance team.:Involvement in lean improvement activities.:Work closely with the Technical Group (i.e. Manufacturing Engineering) on projects and process improvement programs.:Special projects, as required by the Maintenance Manager.:Work with Production areas to make sure the all avenues are considered to assist production to achieve the target of 100 Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. :Provides input on performance appraisals to Maintenance Manager. Resolves conflicts and suggests disciplinary action, when required according to AGCO policies. Safety Responsibilities Employees/temporary employees are responsible for individual compliance with all safety rules, policies and procedures.
