If youre interested in seeing where you fit in the Evergreen FS family apply now OVERVEW Responsible for tree and shrub diagnostic, monitoring and treating within Evergreen FS territory. Ability to assist in developing new business, serving clients, and growth of tree and shrub territory. JOB FUNCTIONS Meet with clients/prospects to evaluate, monitor and diagnose tree and shrub conditions and provide estimates and bids. Design treatment and maintenance plans for plant health care. Monitor, diagnose and treat insect and disease, problems. Complete diagnostic reports and provide comprehensive information for creating an ideal environment for optimum health of landscapes including monitoring, diagnosing and treating insect, disease, weed, and other conditions for client trees and shrubs. Maintain excellent customer relations and service existing client base while developing territory by identifying and acquiring new clients. Support and assist with applying fertilizers and pesticides to athletic fields, commercial, municipal, and residential areas according to recommended rates, procedure and following all pesticide labels. Records application data according to regulations and standards. Sets up material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment for blending and delivery of products. Blends products according to recommended rates and procedures. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for maintaining, repairing, rebuilding, and/or servicing location equipment, vehicles, and structures as needed Follows Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires an associate degree in horticulture, agriculture, landscape or the equivalent thereof, and 0:2 years of related work experience. Prefer Certified Arborist designation or ability to obtain Certified Arborist within two years of hire date. Certified Arborist must be maintained through classes and online studies. Must hold and maintain, or have the ability to obtain, all required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in states where related products are applied. Responsible for renewing licenses or certifications as required and reporting status of licenses or certifications to the Location Manager. Ability to work extended hours and on:call as business conditions warrant. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have or obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
