Heres how a(n)Accountant 3for our US Head Officeoffice contributes to our team: Responsibilities stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Performs general accounting and administrative functions.:Processes corporate credit card statements and employee expense statements.:Accounts Payable : as assigned.:Journal Entries : as assigned.:Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.:Develops and maintains strong, customer:focused relationships with all stakeholders.:Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.:Other duties as required. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.:Understanding of accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers and cash flows.:Understanding of GAAPs (generally accepted accounting principles).:Business acumen and understanding of industry practices and new developments, including introductory:knowledge of construction industry; understands general construction terms and processes.:Aware of relevant government legislation and PCL policies and procedures.:Effective verbal and written communication skills.:Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrix organization.:Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.:Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with employees at all levels/areas of the organization.:Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.:Demonstrated critical:thinking skills.:Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.:Skills using Microsoft Office Suite and applicable softwarePCL is an innovative, employee:owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
