Job SummaryJob Description - Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and distribution operations.- Lead and manage a team of warehouse and distribution employees.- Monitor inventory accuracy with a goal of 99.9 accurate inventory levels.- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements as necessary.- Continuously access and improve key performance indicators related to warehouse and distribution processes.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure on time delivery of goods.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on warehouse and distribution performance.- Implement team practices to streamline processes.- Work closely with customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. Education / Qualifications - 10+ years managing: Warehouse operations including all inventory management locations, traffic management, contract negotiations, etc.- BS Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, etc.- Minimum of 5+ years managing direct and indirect staff- Manage customer relations as required- Work with internal organizations such as : Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, etc.- Working with the compliance team manage compliance related responsibilities- Key part of ISO compliance and auditing process- Process controls and associated metrics- Experience in SAP or comparable ERP system implementation a plusAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
