To learn more, visit nmrk.com or follow @newmark. .Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Real Estate Marketing Director to lead our marketing and business development efforts for leasing and sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, developing and executing strategic marketing plans and partnering closely with sales professionals, clients and key stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the Boston commercial real estate market. This role will work closely with brokerage professionals and clients to develop pitches, presentations and campaigns for new business efforts, property marketing and sales. In addition, this leader will director and oversee the marketing needs for the Boston office through close collaboration with the SVP, East Region Marketing, global design team, lines of business, PR and research teams.Primary Responsibilities: * Lead, coach and develop a team of 5+ marketers and designers in the local market for leasing and capital markets * Provide strategic direction with broker teams to identify target markets and develop tailored business development presentations and property marketing campaigns. * Collaborate with brokers and team to create and deliver high-quality, customized pitch presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition and services offered to our clients * Ensure professional content and appearance of all material by performing quality control across assigned pursuits, with strong attention to detail * Attend client meetings as needed and offer an exceptional level of service and support * Utilize company marketing technology and global design team to effectively allocate talent and resources, manage workflow and ensure the teams are driving towards a cohesive vision * Create a team environment that empowers and encourages creativity, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement, including professional mentorship, coaching and development of team members * Local market connectivity stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques to continuously improve our marketing efforts * Partner with local, regional and national teams to drive core business development and property marketing needs across leasing and capital markets * Implement and promote a best-in-class business development and marketing platform driving revenue growth and client engagement * Oversee and manage digital marketing initiatives, including client website development, social media presence, email campaigns, etc. * Attend client meetings as needed and offer an exceptional level of service and support * Utilize company marketing technology and global design team to effectively allocate talent and resources, manage workflow and ensure the teams are driving towards a cohesive vision * Create a team environment that empowers and encourages creativity, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement, including professional mentorship, coaching and development of team members * Local market connectivity stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques to continuously improve our marketing efforts * Partner with local, regional and national teams to drive core business development and property marketing needs across leasing and capital marketsSkills, Education and Experience: * 10-12+ years experience guiding creatives and marketers * Proven track record of leading and managing the development and implementation of creative initiatives * Significant experience and practical expertise in marketing, strategy, and visual design, as well as a high competency for managing a team on the most complex of projects * Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills, and a detail-oriented approach to problem solving * Commercial/residential real estate or advertising agency experience a must * Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, design and visual communication, fine arts or a related field
