CNC Programmer/Machinist

Description:
CNC PROGRAMMER/MACHINIST-SECOND SHIFT ONLY! Requirements:- Proficiency in CNC machining and HAAS programming- Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM)- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations- Experience with Mazatrol programming is a plus- Ability to operate milling machines and other machining equipment- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Excellent problem-solving skills Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machines to perform precision machining operations- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations- Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy of machined parts- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure proper functioning- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications- Maintain a clean and organized work area Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
