Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk Temporary to join our finance team. This temporary position will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounts Receivable function during a busy period. The successful candidate will assist with processing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and providing administrative support as needed. Key Responsibilities: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, applying payments to the appropriate accounts. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Assist with collections efforts by contacting customers regarding outstanding balances and following up on overdue accounts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions and communications. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting or finance is preferred. Previous 2+ experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related field is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MS Dynamics/NAV, SAP, etc.) is desirable.
