DescriptionCraguns Resort on Gull Lake is looking for a personable, mature, detail-oriented, and independent individual to join our guest experience team as a Part Time Security and Transportation Officer! We offer FLEXIBLE scheduling, multiple shifts, and a 7 days on - 7 days off structure!Job Purpose:A successful candidate in this position holds high responsibility for the safety of our guests and facilities, while ensuring a good time is being had by all. Our Security and Transportation Officers spend a lot of time interacting with guests, answering questions, assisting with any needs guests may have, and transporting them to their activities. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for great customer service and a high priority for safety!Duties and Responsibilities: * Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points * Large focus on running shuttles for golfers, groups, special events etc. * Greet and identify visitors * Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers * Controls traffic by directing drivers * Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures * Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements * Issue tickets and citations as required * Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non-business hours or when front desk is not available * Monitor all cabins, buildings, and systems * De-escalate situations in a friendly and professional manner * Work in other 'Guest Experience' departments as needed (ie.,front desk, marina, housekeeping, and conference services)Requirements * Must be able to pass a background check * A valid driver's license with a clear driving record is required * Must have excellent verbal communication skills * Must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic * Customer service background a plus! * Ability to work a flexible schedule * POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH!Why Cragun's?We offer you very competitive wages, incredible discounts on our marina rentals, all food options, lodging, our giftshop, and serious discounts at our award-wining golf courses!
