CNC Machine Maintenance Technician - Wkend PM

Description:
Position: CNC Machine Maintenance Technician --- Location: Graniteville, SC --- Shift: F-Sun- Night Shift which starts at 5:45AM and ends at 6:15PM (paid 40 hours) --- Training: Initially training will occur on first shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. --- Compensation: $39.80-42.97 per hour, and 5k Sign on Bonus (Paid 50% on day 60 & 120) --- Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 120 hours of accrued PTO, and so much more. --- Relocation: Provided --- Facility - Temperature controlled environment machining casted components for diesel engines. --- Equipment - 7 - 4 Axis horizontal mills, and 1 5 Axis horizontal mill coming soon. Position Description: --- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical repair on Heller CNC machining center --- Monitor, troubleshoot and repair of Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines (cleaning and refilling if necessary), including machining and facility equipment and fluids. --- Analyze, in detail, complex mechanical, electrical machines and the automation components for failure modes. Informing management of potential mechanical problems and any inherent dangers involved. --- Monitor, troubleshoot and repair of lifting device, KVT guns, leak test units and fixtures. All supporting equipment (including Tooling and CMM). --- Thoroughly document root cause analysis, repairs, services, spare parts, and fluid consumption. --- Repair of failed components: Pumps, valves, sensors, motors etc. --- Work with vendors when inhouse repairs cannot be performed. Planning and coordination of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance activities including ordering of spare parts, organization, and initiation of necessary parts shipment. --- Support the installation of the plant's machining equipment. --- Design, modification and fabrication of needed components and repair of production parts when necessary, using manual machining equipment. --- Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken of used spare parts. --- Implement, lead, schedule and perform Total Production Maintenance (TPM) measures. --- Responsible Person for Process Water in Machining. --- Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen. Monitor and repair of transfer tanks Requirements: --- 5 - 7 years of CNC machining maintenance as a technician (not an operator), with experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment. --- Advanced mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, lubrications, and repair of production machines Nice to have: --- Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines. --- Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC) --- Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
