Trisan General Contractors is looking for a Specialized High Rise Concrete Finisher/Concrete Form Carpenter to join our team immediately. The head office is located at 3440 Davis Dr, Newmarket, Ontario L9N 0L5. The candidate will be required to report for work throughout the Greater Toronto Area. In this role, the employee will be responsible for designing and installing various concrete forms, at heights up to 40 stories. This is a permanent, full-time position of 44 hours/week with a starting salary of $30/hour, plus 7.3% vacation pay, and overtime compensation for all work over 44 hours at a rate of $45/hour. The language of work for this position is English. The main responsibilities for this position include: • Reading and interpreting engineer’s drawings and calculating requirements with extreme attention to detail; • Constructing different size forms for concrete based on project specifications; • Measuring, cutting and installing concrete forms; • Attaching forms to building at heights up to 40 stories; • Working on swing stages and mast climbers; • Operating Fork Lifts, Zoom Boom and Skidsteer to lift equipment and forms; and • Supervising other concrete workers. You must have the following qualifications: • High school education; • Extensive practical experience with swing stages, mast climbers and concrete forming; • Extensive experience in concrete forming; • Hydromobile Operators License; • Swing Stage Operator’s License; and • Fall Arrest Certificate.
