The candidate should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school, have 4-6 years of relevant experience, and hold a California Bar Admission.Job Details:Handling unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”)Researching and writing legal documentsRepresenting management in NLRB electionsProviding legal advice on union organizing, corporate campaigns, card checks, and neutrality agreementsNegotiating and advising on collective bargaining agreementsHandling grievance, arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedingsObtaining mass picketing injunctionsAdvising employers on federal and California wage and hour issues, leave management, disability accommodating issues, and other workplace mattersReviewing handbooks, policies, and forms for compliance with federal and state lawReviewing compensation, commission, and bonus plansConducting management training on labor relations, federal and California workplace issues, harassment, discrimination, and retaliationPerforming other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assignedRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school4-6 years of experience in litigation or advice work as an attorneyTraditional labor law experience preferredExperience in federal and/or California advice and counsel work preferredCalifornia Bar AdmissionCertifications:California Bar AdmissionSkills:Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques preferredExcellent attention to detailStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferredEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law schoolJob Location: Sacramento, CA A Vault 10 firm for Labor and Employment Law, this firm is a powerhouse in this realm.
