Examples of topics associated with self development that will be covered are relationships, motivations, psychological stages, individual differences, cognition, culture, autobiographical memory, and narrative perspectives on the self. Prerequisites: PSY201H5 (or equivalent) and ( PSY210H5 or PSY220H5 or PSY230H5 ) Exclusions: PSYD12H3 Estimated course enrolment: 100 Estimated TA Support: 140 hours (total number of assigned hours is dependent on course enrolment and course approval) Class schedule: Lecture - In person: Thursday 6:00 p. m. - 9:00 p. m. Sessional dates of appointment: January 8, 2024 - April 30,2024 Salary: (In accordance with CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement): $9,457.90 for Sessional Lecturer I $9,930.79 for Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term $10,121.77 for Sessional Lecturer II $10,362.76 for Sessional Lecturer III Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Qualifications: The candidate must have a Ph D degree or be in the final stages of a Ph D. The decision on hiring will be based on previous teaching experience in this course or other similar courses, academic qualifications and suitability for the position. Description of duties: Preparation and delivery of course content; creation of course material, development and administration of assignments, tests and examinations; the supervision of teaching assistants for leading tutorials and grading and marking student work; submission of final grades to appropriate University officials in accordance with policy; the maintenance of reasonable.
