Learn more at www.janssen.com .Johnson & Johnson is seeking (2) Associate Scientists to join our Cambridge-based team and be part of a broader group including members in the Spring House, PA and La Jolla, CA campus, focusing on drug discovery for inflammatory and auto-immune disease. The candidate should have a BS in Biology related field with 1-3 years of industry experience. The candidate should have knowledge in immunology and experience with in vitro assays with human primary cells. The candidate will have direct responsibilities including: independent design and execution of experiments, analysis and accurate recording of data in compliance with data integrity requirements, presenting findings to peer scientists and drafting technical sections of regulatory documents. Qualifications Minimum of BS degree or MS degree in Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Immune-oncology or related discipline is required. For a B.S. degree, two to three years of additional laboratory experience is required. For M.S. degree holders, one to two years of additional laboratory experience in industry is required. Experience in: multi-parameter Flow cytometry analysis, primary cell isolation, ELISA, multiplex assays (Luminex or MSD), Western blot and qPCR/RT-PCR is preferred. Experience in development in vitro assay development and optimization is desirable. Excellent social skills and strong written and oral communication skills to interact with diverse audiences including scientific colleagues is required. Position may require up to 5% travel.
