Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Software Engineer Tester Associate in Berkeley, MO. As a full-time Software Tester will Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of automated & manual test cases to verify software performance and function and identify and document defects. Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics using established procedures. Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems. Builds and expands upon automated testing frameworks. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Responsibilities: Create formal test plans and test reports and ensures they have the correct approvals Responsible for test planning Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality Collaborate with other team members on various aspects of development/integration testing etc. to get the feature working on is delivered with quality and on time Provides test coverage reports/automates test cases percentage Provides test evaluation summary report (test metrics) for the release Tests features developed by developers throughout sprints to ensure working software with high quality as per acceptance criteria defined is released as per committed team sprint objectives Plan how the features will be tested and should manage the test environments and be ready with the test data Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Test Complete/Test Execute This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. We will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor or higher 2 or more years software development & scripting experience The ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in creating test automation framework from scratch Excellent verbal communication skills; Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor's) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master's ) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
